During the Samaritan’s Purse Hurricane Maria Disaster response, Michael was asked to design both the Community Outreach & Home Reconstruction Program staff t-shirts.
On September 18, 2017, Hurricane Maria swept directly over Dominica as a Category 5 hurricane, leaving significant destruction in its wake. According to the IOM Situation Report released on 3rd October 2017, 27 people were killed and 100% of the population were affected by the storm. The hurricane damaged water supply and electricity infrastructure, and thousands of people are crowded into collective evacuation centres across the country.
Samaritan’s Purse stands ready to respond at a moment’s notice whenever and wherever disaster strikes. We specialize in meeting critical needs for victims of conflict, disaster, famine, and epidemics throughout the world, often working through ministry partners on the ground. We provide food, water, shelter, medicine, and other assistance in the Name of Jesus Christ.
We are massive fans of Samaritan’s Purse. Please take a look at the incredible work they are doing around the world here: Samaritan’s Purse
